Dear Riverwalk Tucson,
It is with sadness that we have to announce the Fitness Center will not be opened for use until Monday, August 12 at Noon.
The scheduler did not advise last week it is a 5 days process and had advised only 2. We are very sorry for the extended delay and totally understand your inconvenience.
Explanation:
Day 1- Tuesday; prep the floor by grinding the floor to open up the pores and designed to make sure the floor accepts the moisture barrier. This additionally step was necessary because of the high the moisture that had been discovered.
Day 2- Wednesday; The moisture harrier had to ‘cure’ for 24 hours prior to prepping the floor.
Day 3- Thursday; Prep the floor which might require patching. Due to the weather and higher humidity, this process takes a longer time to dry.
Day 4- Friday; the flooring install should only take around 3 to 4 hours to complete.
Day 5- Saturday; Floor has to set for 24 hours.
Day 7- Monday; HBS will install equipment Monday by noon for use.
